Community & Communication

The TI RA Program is committed to creating RA community and communication at the TI. We embody this commitment by inviting RAs to the TI as colleagues, and promoting collaboration across TI teams and projects.

RA Research Spaces

TI 246 is specifically dedicated to RAs. This is a flexible research and learning space that supports experimentation and collaboration. The room includes three collaboration stations, eight hotel stations,  computers, secure storage, floor boxes.

RAs are also encouraged to use the other spaces and technology in the Taylor Institute building, and draw on TI staff and faculty expertise.

RA Program Activities

The RA Notebooks blog chronicles the activities and interests of undergraduate and graduate students in the Program. The bi-weekly newsletter highlights posts from the previous week, announces upcoming TI events/activities, and celebrates RA accomplishments.

Every three weeks, the Program hosts a Lunch & Learn focusing on professional competency – the knowledge, skills, and abilities transferable between workplace, academic, and personal contexts each RA brings to and gains from their role(s).
